The discussion on Saturday April 26 (4th Session) covered Akal Moorat - Timeless Form. Highlights of the discussion:
God is not subject to time, which is another way of saying that it is not terrestrial, is not subject to the degradation and recycling inherent in a three dimensional existence. Moorat or form (image) emphasizes existence. This timeless Being is existent and is the archetypal Form of all things.
Some questions/observations that were made during the discussion:
- Can the timeless be grasped or understood?
- Is there a part of us that is grounded in this timeless being?
- Does timeless imply that this form is eternal? Is there a difference?
Finally, the question of relevance to our daily lives was raised. It was suggested that those who absorb (internalize) these Divine qualities achieve a state of Vismaad (awe and wonderment).
Vismaad becomes the basis for an inspired life where one sees oneself as being in the service of Hukam or Divine Will.
